RE: Your age?
I'm 41. Bought and crashed my first (and only) plane in '82. Built and sunk my first boat in '83. Bought my first car (mini-baja) just a few months ago. It was so much fun I bought myself a T4 for my b-day.

First RC car was the Tamiya Cheetah
Latest RC car is TRF 501X
Things have changed for the better.
Anyway your as old as the woman you feel and my girlfriend is 48. OOOPPPPSSS.
Question to the other one. Why would you smell Ketchup when yer blindfolded and if its a good game share it.
Mike

RE: Your age?
I'm 25. I have loved R/C cars since I was old enough to hold a controller/transmitter.
My first R/C (REMOTE control, wired not radio[&:]) was a small black Trans-Am with two AA batteries in a remote with two buttons on it, one for foward and one for reverse and a wire going to the car. I can't believe how much of a blast I had with that think in my Grandma's kitchen. It was the good 'ol turn in reverse style.
I have had countless R/C cars since then. I had many other wired remote control cars, Tyco R/C cars, Radio Shack cars, Niko, New Bright, etc., etc.
I eventually got into "hobby grade" with a Rustler and haven't looked back. I've had/have a Rustler, Electric TC3, Factory Team RC10B3, Micro RS4, Micro-T, RC18B. I think the only one I don't have anymore is the Rustler. I sold that to a friend a long time ago after I got the B3.

RE: Your age?
Just had a flashback. My first toy RC car was also a Trans-Am. This was back in the mid 70's and it also had only two buttons. One for full right and one for full left. It was always going forward and I spent most of my time chasing it around to un-stick it when it ran into something.
