Made up a slideshow(yes I was bored) of e-firestorms taken from this thread. May have missed a few newer ones.

Glad you were bored. I enjoyed the slideshow. I might have enjoyed it a bit more if it had some music (I had to hum a toon while watching it)

I really liked the body at 2:01 and the Dodge Ram body shown later. Great action shots too.

I wish Christmas would get here already so we can open these bad boyz up and get to bashing.

The music is being swapped as we speak, I went through the first 600 pics of this thread and had enough so might have to do it again with the newer pics.

Congratz on getting your Evader. I bet it sucks having it and not being able to run it. Sounds like the weather isn't right for running anyway.

About the ball diff, keep in mind that the stock gear diff requires very little maintenance while the ball diffs require regular maintenence. Food for thought if you would rather not tinker with your rig every few runs. Me, I love to tinker. [img][/img]

I wonder if this MIB Ball Diff kit would work for the Storm. It's designed for the Blitz but because they are so similar.........

I am running the blitz ese ball differential and I think darkside is too. If that kit fits the blitz it must fit the firestorm since the transmission cases are identical.

I keep all my pics on my harddrive, All I want is for the pic uploader to work like it use to...Not much to ask for one would think.

Ive spent tons of time over the years on web forums. Not a single forum or website has had good photo upload support. Might as well get a photobucket to make the most out of having pics. Also, its like having a backup lol. Thats what i would do instead of just hoping and grumbling about how things use to be. Get with the times, man! haha

All joking aside, I was thinking about getting another storm but can figure how to get the non flux version in Canada anymore. Seems hobbytown does not ship here...

Someone, somewhere in Canada must be selling one. But there are so many forums on the internetz that it'll be hard to scour them all. Good luck with your hunt.

Unless someone buys a bunch from hobbytown and imports them here were out of luck for the non flux version.

HT, might upgrade to brushless, not sure however, depends on speeds, i dont need a whole lot of speed, dont have a huge place to run at, so if i do get brushless it wont be a super fast set, been looking at the novak 8.5's since i wont have cogging issues with nihm so i wont have to go strait to lipo's

Wife just got done with our daughters body. She can throw it on my car when she wants to bash with her brothers. My wife also showed me my new body so I can sticker it up before she wraps it and puts it under the tree with the other two.

Hmm... I don't see why it wouldn't. I mean, the Blitz is identical (from what I understand) to the Firestorm in nearly all respects. Heck, Blitz owners are comlaining about the steering setup all the time because it 's JUSTLIKE the Firestorm.

But you are right about HPI usually stating that it'll work for the Firestorm in the description.

Damn, thats nice. Makes my integy one look like a piece of crap. The blitz uses the same steering bellcrank but it mounts it in a completely different way than the firstorm so it can be removed by taking the bulkhead brace off. Its much easier to adjust. I have a spare blitz setup and will try it on the storm that way the next time I have it apart.
