RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I got the original hpi brown version on my nitro storm, an strc on my estorm and a hotracing piece on my blitz. of the aluminum ones the hpi felt heavier but not by much.
I just looked at the big squid report on the recon, looks like a rebadged brama18b

Good to know I plan on ordering the Orange 3 degree Block then. I Also plan on Getting rid of my HPI Cyber 10B I'm looking to pick up another stadium truck t3 or t4 roller or a SCT 2wd or possibly 4wd if anyone wants to trade. The Cyber 10b is a roller Needs ESC and Motor and a center drive shaft.

If you are looking for another tough stadium truck, I would suggest a T3 or XXX-T. I've had great luck out of both. The T4 was great for racing but a fragile basher. The T4 also really needs the 30 degree castor blocks before it handles like it should.

RPM all the way. I used the white arms on the blitz and they were broken the first time out. Most of the white plastic broke for me quickly. From what I remember the RPM ball ends are quite tight on the firestorm balls. I use the white ESE ball ends and have replaced them twice since june because they were bent too many times. I would stick with stock.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
Thanks for the fast reply. I have switched to 2.8" Desperado wheel'sand Badlands tires (5"tall) so I figure im going to wear things out a little faster than with the stock 4" tires. The trade off is worth it though for bashing. Jumps/lands betterand tons of traction. Im running a 16t pinion and the truck is faster top speed but the esc and motor are coolerI assume because the tires arent spinning the whole timeim driving. The punch control is @ 50% and still pulls wheelies whenever you want.

They are but with the 2.8" wheels the sidewall is about the same so they arent to sloppy in turn's. Also besides jumping/landing the ground clearance is great in grass.
Another good thing is they weigh about the same as the stock setup.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I'm looking to buy another R/C truck/car idk what I want tho... I really want a tc3 -tc5 or a sc10 4x4 or scte. I'd like one of each but that just isnt going to happen right now. I just want a street car for speed runs and after work in are huge parking lot, instead of running my storm and tearing that up sense it isnt truely meant to be ran on the street and I want a SCT 4x4 for Winter time and running offroad . I'm torn at what to get. I think I really should get the SCT 4x4 as winter is going to be here soon in NY and then by the tc3-5 at the end of november when I get a check for $25,000.00 from a lawsuit I get every year.
If anyone has either of these for sale PM me and maybe we can work something out.
Also if anyone has either let me know their up's and down's.
