Anyone know the wheelbase on this thing? I keep searching Tamiyausa and Tower every single day to see when the wheels and tires will be available. Going right onto my Hilux!!! And the body would be awesome too. If Tamiya keeps rockin the Toyota action, who's in for an FJ Cruiser XC?

Yeah but the old FJ ran leafs in the front and rear. If I get the body set it's going on the high lift.
I LOVE the wheels and tires though, especially how they will look on the Hilux. Nicer looking than anything RC4WD has put out IMO.
LB do you already have the body set?

I wonder if the parts to this thing will be available the same day the kit is. I'm interested in the frame rails too, wonder if they are the same length as the high lift?

Come on wheels and tires...

I think he means the shape... and yeah actually they do! I may get those frame rails and build a custom rig with them.

I saw a real Landcruiser today at Costco that looks just about exactly same as the CR-01. Right down to the tires. He had a window sticker that said "LandCrusher"

That's not quite true. The Axial is $220, the CR01 is $310-$340. The RTR Axial is closer in price to the CR01 but then again it includes the electronics.

Can't wait to see everyone's builds!
