Hello LB nice to hear from you. Yes I am quite particular about how I like things. Plus I have always loved to tear things apart, and sometimes I even get them back together.

Another technical question: I have been researching shocks and it seems that Tamiya and GMade shocks seem to be the best for the CR-01. The GMade Transition shocks really seem to be an excellent option. I see that 860Crawler is using GMade Zero which look nice to but I kind of did not consider them because they really are designed to be used with their exterior springs. Obviously they can work without them. 860Crawler when you researched your shocks did they have the Transition shocks. If so why did you decide on the ones you have? Anybody have experience with the Tamiya shocks?

As always thank you for you help.

I bought the GMade Zero shocks at least 2 years before the Transition shocks came out lol I bought them because they seemed to be the best non-Tamiya product at the time

Since I have some time off I decided to take the real camera out and take some decent shots out on the trail.

Thanks! I might go out again tomorrow. Today's run ended short when I lost a pin in the prop shaft and only had front wheel drive. I reassembled it and this time put a strip of black tape around the part of the joint where the pin is on both sets of prop shafts so they can't back out

he likes it in the Bronco more. Its roomier and has tinted windows. And the red, white, and blue matches his driving suit

The Gmade Team Zero shocks have been great. I haven't had a need to change them out.

And as far as the Tekin in combo, it should work well. Lots of people use that ESC for crawlers

Ok, so it's been more that a year since bought my CR-01 Cruiser, and since I'v posted on this forum. I've had some time to learn a whole lot from you oaks, and get some serious inspiration. I've done some upgrades to the car, but soon realised that aftermarket accessories are very hard to find for this model. So, I did what most of you did, build it my self. Here are some pics of what I did. There are still more upgrades already brewing, and I will post more as I'm done with them. Thank you so much for the advice and detail that you oaks post on this forum. I hope my pics can also mean something to someone here. Until later, "Happy Crawling !!"

And the sticker set:

But not as a bodyset..
