Default Tsunami EPX + Brushless + EnerG 4600 7-cell Hump pack

Just wanted to let you all know IT IS AMAZING!!!!!

Never dreamed it would be THIS fast! it is very difficult to steer! It is so fast it wants to keep the front up (not in wheelie... just lightly touching the ground) as long as your on the throttle. You have to let off to get the front tires to bite enought to turn.

Wheelies like mad! Once upon a time Ehroof said "wheelies on demand" He is absolutely correct!

Made the mistake of trying it in the basement. (I have a huge basement) No way was that a good idea. It is carpeted so a short stab on the forward throttle sent it leaping into the air 1.5 ft. and flipping backwards at the same time. It landed flat on it's lid! [X(]

I love this setup!!

Hey pede_kid... Did you just pm me?
i got an email saying you did but nothing came in to my inbox.

I did get a pm that was meant for someone else. (not from you)
Must be something wrong with the system at the moment.

Anyway... I have never uploaded a video to the web. Send me some instructions and I will do my best.

[X(] So I'm gonna tear apart the car!! I will order those parts. Thanks for the tip. (Darn it I was trying to get the money together for wheels and tires [:@] ) LOL

clermont hobby is working on testing a drive shaft that he'll sell. He's using a 5000mAh 2s LiPo.

With the battery you're using your going to tear it up in no time.

you will need 4 of [link=http://www.clermontmotorsports.com/servlet/the-584/B-10x15x4/Detail]these[/link] and 4 of [link=http://www.clermontmotorsports.com/servlet/the-574/B-5x10x4/Detail]these[/link] That is for the wheels. I am about to open up the transmission to see if it has any bushing or bearings so I'll let you know

Contact clermont (he's on rcu) and see what he says about it

Did you know that Himoto's come with the BB already. I have a Emamba from Himoto and saw that the RedCat is the same thing and wanted a new one so I ordered a Truggy from them and was very dissapointed that it came with bushings instead of bearings. Also if you look on the himoto site you can get a lot more hop ups as well.

they have the same hop ups. Redcat doesn't list all the hop ups for the tsunami under that page. Go to hop ups for the volcano and all of the volcano hop ups fit the tsunami

There are also many more. Nitro Tsuanmi hop ups will fit too. In actualality, redcat has more hop ups because you can use tsunami ultra wide arms and links, etc

Well i found the weakest link!! LOL

I took it out to the asphalt! Bad idea! It torqued the rear wheel right off the car on the first "hammer down"!!!!

It was actually pretty funny.

Oh well it was fun while it lasted.

Now to the order some stronger parts.... hmmm lets see. lol

Here are some pics of the damage.

Anyone know exactly what the part is that I need?

I think it should be just the little linkage piece that connects to the axle on one side and the wheel hex on the other side.

No idea what it is actually called.

Hey thanks a lot! I'll add them to my list.
Actually I should see if they have stronger ones first! Seeing as how it will probably just do it again.

Thanks again!

Hey firstrc. Where'd you get that strap for the hump pack? I could use one of those for my durga so I can actually put a 7 cell battery in it.

Actually that is the stock Tsunami battery tie-down.
I just relocated one of the posts to line up with the holes of the tie down after I bent it.

I did it that way because I wanted to run the car right away and did not want to take the time to custom make something nice that will work long term.

You probably could use it that way long term though if you are interested in getting one. It is surprisingly flexible and holds the battery nicely. I had the car doing wheelies, jumping, and flipping/rolling/crashing etc.. and it held the battery just fine.

firstrc, would you mind getting a picture of this next to a well known RC truck so we can get an idea of the size of it?
