If u are having problems bending shocks......

easy fix, replace the top mount with a rubber mount. & or replace the shock towers with stiffer ones. Im running RPM ones but they are no ware as good as the integy FRP Modified Silver Front Shock Tower on my rustler, it light and has NO flex, the RPM one still flexes

How 'bout prepping the body? Did you get to thoroughly wash the body with soap before painting it? Then of course, rinse well so no soap residue is left on it.

And then, I believe you should spray rattle cans at 70F degrees ambient temperature or more.

Last thing I can think of is to spray light even coats. Better to have 4 thin coats then 2 thick ones.

If you want to remove that paint, use DOT3 brake fluid and let it sit, then wipe off. Continue until all paint is removed. I've heard you can use DOT4 also, but, also had conflicting stories that it melted the body in some cases.

I hope some of this gives some clue as to why it flaked off so badly.

It could be possible the paint had a bad reaction from being applied on the cold body at 30 degrees.

So, how's it going lately, any progress?

one thing i noticed when painting is that if possible you should try and have a heater to heat up the paint and the medium, main thing is to be sure that the paint and what you are painting are about the same temperature, and above 15oC

does anyone know if the losi lsr 3000 remote (losi standard 2.4) will accept the integy steering wheel hubs

looks good... if u are running brushed its easy to connect a relay for reverse lights

here is mine when the light were working, that body is long gone tho... damm I miss it. I had the rclights.com brake light controller... but after a while the wires came loos on all the lights & i never used them so i dident bother fixing them.

Some day im going to get another SCT body and make the light controlled by the controller
here is the wiring diagrm i made... might help u

im only running a 7a BEC because my ESC'sBEC is only 1.5a and my servo draws more than that... nothing to do with the lights... they draw bugger all amps.
what reciver are u running?

The rear light buckets are made by RPM but u will need there bumper bar to fit them.... Highly recomend all of the RPM upgrades... no kidding
