I tried looking it up in the owners manual and it appears to be the code for low voltage detection but I have tried 3 separate, almost new, 7 cell batteries in it and they were all charged.  Im new so this could just be something stupid that Im missing. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me

The LVD is going off because it is for use with lipo, not NIMH. Simply turn off the LVD when using NIMH and you'll be good to go.

I've had a servo fry which made everything funky. Try unplugging the servo and see if throttle is normal

hey guys, i am new to the slash forum and had a question. i see all these videos on youtube about slash 2wd's with 3s lipos and they are wheelie monsters. so i got a sky lipo 3300mah 20c 3s to put in mine. this thing flies....but no wheelies and mucho tire spin. i assume i dont need to have the slipper nut tightened all the way, or do i? it is about half a turn from close now. any suggestions on getting wheelies? thanks for looking

Mines the same, alot of tire spin and practically no wheelies. what gears are in yours? I've got 17/86, regular slash tires. nothing but wheel spin.

Stiffen up the rear springs, tight slipper is the way to go too.

mine will only wheelie on high traction concrete, or with different wheels

thanks for the tips, but i need more advice now. I went to run it and something broke. The pinion and spur spin with throttle but the tires dont move. I assumed it was the diff so i took it apart and dont see any visisble damage, but i noticed the output shaft that goes through part number2388x will spin freely inside part 2388x. I put 2 and 2 together and figured something inside it is broke. I got a feeling it has 50 gears and washers and bearings inside it so i would rather just replace it. Should it spin freely? thanks for looking

I just did one it's pretty straight forward ..it's got instructions with it.
If you open the big white round diff you will see you most likely chewed up some gears.
Dontbe scared its super easy

If u are holding the diff assembly if u turn one side the other side should spin the other way, or hold the assembly and 1 out put shaft tightly, the other shaft should not spin.... Don't be scared ofte diff... It's very basic. Honestly open it up and fill it with some 100wt oil...

Hey guys, Im looking for advise. I have a Slash 4x4 and am looking at the Tekin 4 pole 4600 or 4000kv. I had a CC4600kv and had terriable over heating issues. I know I can gear down, but I dont race or anything. I just want speed and bashing. Im using a Mamba MP esc with a 20c 3s lipo and 17/54 gearing. Anyone know if the tekin 4 pole 4600 or 4000 kv will have bad overheating issues with this set up?.

That should work fine. Go lower in KV if you had heat problems. get the 4000kv...

Save some money and get a toro $60, its what im running. Just gotta get it from china right now, no one has it in stock in USA. Mine came quick gobs of power and cheeeeap

Black & yellow body (me) and the red one are running this system. (sorry cant watch on mobile due to opening and closing tunes)

That looks pretty good, thanks for your help. So youre running a 4000kv w/3s lipo and 17/54 gearing with out heat issues? May I ask about what your speed is?

I'm running 2s. No clue what speed. Much faster than velineon on 2s. I'm running a 14 pinion 54 spur. Lower kv and lower gearing if u have heat issues. I can hold my motor after a run so it's just warm

I like that, how's the quality? I'm sure it handles much better now too.
