Should be getting my new steel idler gears for my E-Maxx tomorrow! Now the only thing left to strip out is the spur gear!

ALSO!!!

Trading my RC18B for a set of 4 front 1/8 nitro buggy shocks! These 4 shocks will be going on my E-Maxx! They are beefier, stronger, smoother, threaded body, and look alot better! They are also 1/2 inch longer so the truck will sit higher for better bashing ability!

um, i can get some soon. It looks about the same as last time now lol i am waiting on parts from tower and tomorrow im getting some more tires so i will take some tomorrow. With any luck i will get my tower shipment, 3s lipo, and all the lhs stuff and i can assemble and take pics and bash. (but thats on a good day and that will never happen around here [&o])

MaxxOrange, there just is no way i can do it. I might try after i drink a couple drinks so that i dont know what im doing But im pretty sure that i cant do it. I might however try a huge house lol, my friends house is huge and it has a huge run up. I could get to top speed before i hit the ramp. It is half in grass and half not but the grass is short so i could do it. And there is a drop off in the back so you are falling even farther than going up lol thats insane. Its about a 80-100 foot jump though. I think its possible if i can get up to about 50 and hit it haha [8D]

Im pretty sure you know this already but a little trick on setting the ride hight is to use calipers (if you have some) much more precise. Thats what i use with my 18t.

Yeah, I use calipers on any threaded shock bodies, because I can never get them all close to the same otherwise.

moving on! here are some new pictures of the stampede/raze. the stampede was recently put back together, along with the raze. the raze just got a new pinion, wire extensions, and i rebuilt some stuff on it.

They are soldered together. I had a hell of a time getting the shrink wrap on. Know of a better way?

if it's thin enough, you can just hold your soldering iron next to the heat shrink, and it will shrivel right up.

Yeah, uh...... I am guilty, I rarely clean my RC's unless I drive them through mud...... I just leave them dirty, IMO they can look The 1/8 nitro buggy is the only RC I clean after every couple races/uses.

I dont clean my truck cause its not made to be clean. Its made to drive. If it doesnt drive i clean it. simple as that. When mine get dirty anyways i just drive a couple packs in my yard and on road and it flies off lol.

I got a ton of rc18t parts today. I got some new tires and stuff. It runs now, runs nice. Now i just need the lipo. I will get some pics tonight or tomorrow.

i run it hard. i don't clean my cars that often. even my stampede doesn't get cleaned that much. today i took it to the track with my friends jato 3.3 and i smoked him with 12 cells. he was sliding all over and i just punched the throttle and before he knew it i was going around him again. if it makes you feel better, i cleaned it after i got back from the track. it looks good now.
