the dirt hawgs don't balloon much at all. however I only run a 17t motor. calvino, I think you should give the old gold pan a shot as a runner. the worst that would happen is you'd have a running rc10. it would be fun even if you were just ripin around the driveway.[8D] it's a b3 right? I'm still new at this.

Right now, I believe it is 23/76. Don't know right now, but it's in the ballpark

The wing is also custom lol. My stock one got thrashed really bad so I just made that one really quickly

And yes, the sidewinder is a great ESC! What I like is you can buy the castle link and plug it into your computer and program everything on it!

The whole brushless setup cost me about $130 (motor, esc, and castle link). About the same cost as when I made my mini-t brushless. MUAHAHAHAAHAH!! The new lipo stuff I am getting soon is going to cost about the same as the BL setup. I'll keep you guys updated [8D]

Expect pics soon! Purchased: J Concepts body, metallic blue paint with which back coating paint, MRC Superbrain 960, and a 6 cell ener-g pack matched by smc. My lhs let me take home a used one to see if I liked it for free. If I liked it, I pay 30 bucks for it. If I don't like it, I can buy another brand...nice guy

its the original RC10 (no added numbers) rly old, older than me for that fact (C. 1980), ive got a CO27 Monster Stock pro to pwr this little sucka, and a friends "borowed" XL-1 ESC, and im using my airplane radio stuff to get it running, but ya, that would be cool, drat, no wing, maybe ill pick up the B4 wing and mount, ya, rear tires are almost bald... so it needs some work, bu other than tires, electronics and wing, it would be a rly cool car to run, i was thinking of some dirt hawgz for the rear sooo it outa be good for onroad and offroad runnin[8D]

The sparks are from the motor guard and the screws on it... I wouldn't risk the motor like that....

I have to put my lipos in this setup now and test it out.

Another radio system that I use and like is the Hitec CRX with the synthesized module. It is ocmpatible with Futaba receivers and hitec receivers (which are cheaper). I bought mine used and a small tab broke on the radio so I sent it in for repair. Hitec went ahead and sent me a whole brand new radio for free. Good customer service.

As for the Thunder Tiger, it is basically a RC10B3, but with a few oddball parts that cannot be found anymore. So once something breaks on this buggy, I will be getting a Durga to replace it.

Got any pics of the Galaxy?

Here's my baby! Just got the body and painted it in around an hour. The wing didn't have buttons or a wire, so it'll have to be wingless for now :P

Got that SMC ener-g 4600 matched pack for 30 bucks. 1st owner was a Factory SMC driver...good buy imo, I tried it out and it wheelies like mad.

Freshly mounted dirt hawgs.

Also just got a new MRC Superbrain 960. I'm content for now

Peace.

I have to look into those dirt hawgs for my buggy. My rear tires are beginning to wear dow, more or less pins. I drive on my street when I am testing a new setup out, and do offroad when I go bash with my buddies. Are the dirt hawgs "ok" at offroad. I don't care if tey are less performing than my pins, as long as they don'tperform like racing slicks ofroad is what I am getting at.

Yea, but they aren't as good as pins. Just look at it this way. Dirthawgs equal shorter pins that last foreverz

Guys, I'm gona cry. I hit a speed bump and killed my shell. 2 cracks, some scraping, and the front body mount area is ruined. Need a new top chassis...do I just super glue the cracks in the body?
