If you plan to race, definantly get the B4. The Traxxas is a good car, just not supposed to be much of a racer, more of a basher.

you wont regret getting the bandit. it can be made into a great racer and is already a great basher.
if your getting the vxl you deffo wont look back!!!!!!

It takes tooooooons of work to make a bandit into something like the B4 as a racer. As MT said if you are racing get the B4, bashing the bandit will be fine.

The bandit VXL is 199 on ultimatehobbies.com

Yea...I wouldn't bash with associated. It's mainly for racing. The bandit is more of a bashing thing. If you really wanted to race, you could always make your bandit a racer, too. Different shock set up, lighter parts, brushless, etc, are all things you could do for it to be race worthy.

The B4, no doubt about it in my mind. The Bandit is well built but its no racer.

BTW Don't believe the hype that the Team Associated cars can't be used as "bashers". I've always used my Associated cars/trucks as bashers and never had a problem breaking parts.

Or you could buy the most top notch and durable buggy ever, a Team Losi XXX-CR! It is an EXTREMELY GOOD RACER and VERY VERY DURABLE to handle bashing. I have a XXX-T from Team Losi, which the XXX-CR is based off of, and it is the toughest truck I have, and with a Mamba Max 6900 brushless system, it has amazing torque and absolutely flies! Get a Team Losi XXX-CR and dont look back, you WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!

bandit if your gonna bash, asscoiated if your gonna race. if you just wanna race at a club level, a bandit will still work, but anything after that....not so much,

$199 for a Brushless RTR, no brainer. You would kick yourself if you had the Associated buggy and had to bash with a guy that had the VXL. I f you want to race just get a Losi then and switch the VXL back and forth
