That's totally what I was thinking.... Everyone keeps saying that 4wd is the end of R/C. I am totally open to all ideas, I just really need someone to explain what makes the E-maxx better. I can name tons of reasons why I feel that 2wd is better, but that's another story.

People when you start out racing, start with a 2wd because that will get your skills beefed up for 4wd.
I'm going back to 2wd racing for that very reason.

Bigger
More Traction
Looks
Better for 1/8 tracks
Handles better in the air
I would still go with #1 though.

The Rustler does great in traction. I don't see how it can get traction when it is always flipping due to it's high CG. This might sound a bit silly, but I think it's fun controlling a 2wd. It takes some skill, and it's fun to learn throttle control.
Looks, mean nothing. Although, a FLM Rustler looks pretty sweet.
I don't race 1/8, and the E-maxx is 1/10.
I suppose, but I still don't see much of an air difference. I can make my truck land on it's nose or it's tail. That's enough control for me.
See what I mean? [8D]

the emaxx aint 1/10, its definitley 1/8 IMHO, its just so stupid that traxxas can say the stampede, rustler, and emaxx are all 1/10 scale, when they are clearly not, same with the the nitro versions.

um.... brain fart.
i think if and when i sell my rustler i will sell it as a roller. most of my cash is in my receiver, esc, and motor. i will let the buyer have the servo.
how much could i get for it? (as a roller..)

a roller would be worth so little, that shipping would probably cost as much as you'd get for it
maybe just find some kid at a track or something and give it to him/her
