e-savage???
hey i am getting a new truck and thought the e-savage might be any good, is it... i am gonna be hitting huge jumps and want somthing that will hold up to a beating, is there anything i could do to make it faster. thank you

i wouldnt make it faster until you actually drive the truck, they are pretty quick and durable out of the box.

I got my chick one and she loves it! I took it around our lhs track it did fine.I was surpired it need tires but all rtr do. But for bashing it well do what your looking for.

The E-Maxx is a larger truck that does look meaner because of it's size (very close to a 1/8th scale, while the E-Savage is in-between 1/8 and 1/10). I spoke to several people who owned both and all said that while the new E-Maxx is much improved, it still is more prone to breakage than an E-Savage in bashing. However, the E-Maxx is faster (slightly) with stock motors and 16.8V (14cells). Both trucks can handle 16.8V. Speak to owners of only one, and you'll only get their suggestion for the one they own, but speak to owners that have both and you get a more informative answer. In the end, neither will run with nitro unless you go brushless. In either one, a nice BL setup will bring you to 40-45mph...damn fast for a MT.
