Default e-Firestorm brushless Questions

Hi,

I´m sorry if this comes out as a question that has been asked soo many times before. I´ve searched and read hundreds of posts on these forums but there are some many IF´s that I am still confused

I guess it drills down to a few basic questions and would really appreciate your help.

1. How much of a performance gain will I see going from stock 15T motor and 3600Mah batteries to SideWinder 5700 with 2S 4600Mah A123's?
2. I like the safety and the fast charge concept of A123´s - so limited to those what would be better 3S 2300Mah with SW 4600 or 2S 4600Mah with SW 5700?
3. Will I get more performance with 2S 6,6V 4600Mah (A123) with the SW5700 than using my current NiMH´s 7,2V 3600Mah´s? What about the same comparison for the 3S 2300Mah?
4. What about runtime difference comparing the 2300Mah (4600) and 4600Mah (5700) A123´s? What about the NiMH´s 7,2V 3600Mah?

Sorry for all the questions, I´m just ready to buy but can´t decide what I want to buy Since it´s gonna be shipped to Iceland, it´s better to get it right the first try due to high shipping costs and customs.

Thanks in advance,

Default RE: e-Firestorm brushless Questions

Even as a newbie, the swap from stock motor to a Novak brushless system (running on regular 7.2V nimh batteries) is way too obvious. The truck became a brand new experience for me, all my brushed motor buddies who've been in RC for years loved it.

Excellent, then I will go brushless

Now I just need answers to the rest - or just heck with it and buy A123´s 4600Mah and SW 5700...

Thanks for the reply,

If my options are 2300Mah 3S or 4600Mah 2S... why would I rather got 4600kv to use the 3s? That is ultimately my dilemma...is the option of 3S only better if I go for other batteries than A123?
