that isn't an RC that is the real thing and if you read the top of the window on the link it says they join forces with a CORR racing team. it doesn't mean they are making one. But if they do, it will make the class more popular and there will be more at tracks because people who are stuck up about traxxas don't buy the slash but might buy Associated's.

No, they have a teaser shot of it on the back cover of Radio Controlled Car Action, the newest issue, September 2008. Its a real teaser shot of a real RC CORR Truck that AE is going to make. They joined forces with a CORR Team as well, but trust me, they are going to make an RC CORR truck like what Traxxas is doing.

My guess is that it will be, because all of the stuff on that website says they joined up with the CORR Pro 4 team, which is the 4 wheel drive class, and from the teaser shot, it appears that there isn't a whole lot of front kick up/caster, which 4 wheel drive trucks don't have very much front kick up/caster, so there is a good chance its 4 wheel drive. Now the electric part I am not sure about, there isn't enough in the teaser shot to tell if its nitro or electric.

If anyone here gets Radio Control Car Action, the newest issue September 2008, look at the front cover, and just flip the magazine over, you will see the teaser shot on that back cover. Its the tires and that part of the front bumper that gives it away as an RC truck.

ya i just took a look at my mag, and i guess ur right the bumper gives it away but so does the not clear windshield. i was surprised when i saw associated's name with a CORR truck but i didn't think anything of it.

Who cares who got to first, its who has the best design and can sell the most of it. And I have a feeling that the Associated one will probably be better than the Traxxas ones if its electric and 4wd.

I assume you are talking about this picture?

When I saw that, I thought "that bumper, windshield, and tire, and the body shape don't look like the fullscale truck". I knew a while back that AE was sponsoring a CORR truck, but I assumed they were going to tie in the new RC8T to the CORR series somehow. Ah well, it was bound to happen since I just bought a Slash last weekend - murphy's law!

Thanks to Ben (brushlessboy16) for this idea, but I think that they will probably call it an RC10C4 if its a Pro 4 based truck (4wd) or an RC10C2 if its a Pro 2 based truck (2wd).

Doesn't matter...Losi was making one back when Thunder Tech's claim to fame was Clodbuster parts and a Stampede chassis conversion. We're talking 1997...based on the XX4 buggy.

nah... the "4" and "2" in Associated vehicles means that its the forth or second reincarnation of the vehicle, like rc10,b2, b3, b4. Not if its 2wd or 4wd.

most likely It would NOT be an rc10 series car. Probably just give it a name like their RTR cars. (monster GT)

Yeah I knew it was coming sooner or later.
Maybe it's a B44 chassis dressed up like a Corr truck. If it is I can always convert my B44 over to one.

i kind of hope it has a solid rear axle to make it more scale, if not whatever. but if it is another 1/18 or rebagged b44 i dont think i will really want one, but i haighly doubt it will be a rebagged b44 though, seing as how they are teamed up with guys from the pro-2 class not the pro-4. i swear to god if it is another 18t i will have to slap someone, lol.
