First thing I would check would be the battery and motor plugs. Make sure they're tight.

is it turned on jk

any wires loose on the ESC?
it could be one of traxxas's shoddy soldering jobs in the ESC (but isnt the VXL developed by novak?) that i have heard people wine about for ages[&:]

Is the motor still turning? If so, I had a similar experience after a jump. Make sure the motor itself isn't loose such that the gears aren't touching.

Jumps tend to slowly loosen screws, make sure your motor is close enough for the pinion and spur to touch each other, make the mesh correct, and tighten it!

The engine is squeezed(tightened), everything is OK, but the engine turns(shoots) not, it messes around it turns(shoots) half a second and it stops(arrests). I am done. I believed that the electric were reliable

not sure, but if the problem is the ESC(electronic speed controler) then you can get it replaced by traxxas for $0. i just sent mine in, about 10 days ago, and a new one will be here in 2 days.

when you say "but the engine turns(shoots) not" do you mean it will not turn when you pull the controler trigger? if the motor will not move when it should, then i would say the ESC is the cause. the place where the motor wire plugs into can come loose from the electronics inside the case. it will still be held in by the rubber seal, but not transfer power to your motor.

He said it takes off, then it stops. Probably letting go of the trigger 'caus he's scared.

you don't need to send your car to them unless you think it will be covered by the warranty.

What did you break?

Yeah, with me it was the ESC plugs, I got so fed up with the ESC shutting down in the middle of the track (which is also very embarassing) I replaced the VXL system with a mamba max and a trinity brushless motor.

A hung brush can cause the motor to get jumpy and cut in and out.

you should READ THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING if you took the time to do that you would have realized this is a brushless motor no brushes.

my friend has the same problem with his truck i will tell him to send it out
