Novak Brushless Conversion Kit
I have an OFNA Hyper 8 that I want to convert to brushless. Do I have to use a Novak brushless motor or will other brands fit this kit?

Yea, novak uses a standard 540/550 motor hole location with the motor plate in that kit, so it should be universal in that respect.
Email/call them and ask to be 100% sure.
Cheers.

Nope... You can't. Novak uses a special motor mount that clips around the center of their HV motors, and not at the front. You only use Novak HV motors with their kit.

I'm not sure any motor will fit. In order to install the conversion kit motor HS, the colored motor sleeve from the Novak HV motor must be removed.
Any specific conversion kit questions can be addressed to [email protected]

I'm not sure any motor will fit.
"No it won't fit, but you can still spend your hard earned money and buy one anyways to help us profit".
Honestly... is it so hard to be straight forward and just give him a definitive "NO"? Most of us already know it won't fit. I find it very shady that you claim "I'm not sure"... when its obvious that the mount is custom made for only Novak HV motors. Nice job on the honesty man... Bob Novak will be real proud of you...
Now if in all honesty, you did not mean to mislead the buyer... then all I have to say is, you should research your own product more... just a thought.
