They (NIHM) are typical generic/e-bay type that are great price, good for low current draw and not good for high current draw. No idea about the lipos.

I have 4 packs of the 4500Mah 6 cell packs for about 6 months now... I've had no problems with any of the packs to date.. I have run about 30 cycles thru them and the best I can get is about 4100Mah, but I didn't expect much more than that... for basher packs they are tough to beat... If you are racing, look elsewhere.. I prefer to run Lipo's, but I did cut up one pack and turn it into a 9 cell pack for a few speed runs with my VXL vs 11.1 volt.. The pack lacks the low end punch of a lipo or top end race pack, but the top speed was the same... and thats what I was looking for... (top speed the same as another high end Nimh, not Lipo).. I use these packs for my Brushless Motorcycle as I don't want to risk high end Lipo's in a bike.. I paid around $25 per pack on ebay when I found a sale...

Depends on what you run them on, but they tend to overheat and blow up under high drain conditions. For totally stock setups they're probably fine. But if you run a modified motor that's gonna pull a lot out of the batteries you'll want a better quality pack.
