Time to upgrade the pede again
Okay so I have a pede with:
MM5700 brushless
9.6v 4500mah packs
FLM wide front A-arms
RPM rear A-arms
traxxas aluminum shocks
RPM rear carriers
traxxas aluminum front carriers
FLM front caster blocks
swami bar
RPM bumper
Hitec 654MG servo
I really like the truck but its just not cutting it anymore. The extra ground clearance of a pede is a joke, really it has the same clearance as a rustler, its just high in the center, when would break over angle really ever matter on a car like this!? Also I want to use my Futaba 3PM 2.4ghz with it, but on a pede there is really no good way to mount a non-stock Rx. I dont want the $80+ rx flying out. I tried dremeling out the chassis to fit a AE GT2 rx box, but I am having trouble getting it to fit with the 8 cell hump pack and everything in there. Also I hate the body mounts, even with the plastic washers a body doesnt last long before it get jammed through the mounts.
So I am considering a few options...
I was also wondering what the pede might be worth if sold without body, esc, and radio.

RE: Time to upgrade the pede again
i chose to get the parts on tower simpily because its more fun. have you considered lipo?
if you have some or alot of tarmac around where you live you could transform it in to a street rustler. and you could always transform it back in to a off-road stampede again.

So far selling the pede and getting a new car is winning.
So what new car, that doesn't use two batteries at once should I get?
I run off road, and am going to use the MM5700.

For the Rx, you can put foam padding in the Rx box to make smaller (non-stock) Rx fit well. I did this when I still had my Pede.

Buy a VXL rustler roller from ebay for $30-$40, swap electronics and rear end, add some RPM a-arms & front bumper and go beat it. That's what I did.
