For sure! I'll have to get some pics up. It has the KMC body and is mostly stock but I'm ready to start some modding! Thanks for all of your posts btw, I'm learning as I read on what i need to change :P

Is everyone finding the Gold (front) and Green (rear) springs to be the setup of choice?

So far I've been running with the stock front silvers and rear greens along with 25wt oil and haven't really had any reason to play around with it. I'm soo happy with my truck right now that I have most of the traction issues sorted. I've got the Calibers in the rear and Bow-Ties up front and it's all systems go now

For the track I'm going to use the stock body as it offers more tire clearance up front. With the Silverado body I had to run with -5 degree camber just so the tires would clear[sm=tired.gif] the fenders (without jacking up the front of the body too much).

So now I've got the front set to -1 degree camber, so should definitely give me more traction especially in a straight line.

Can't wait to hit the track again!

Until last night I was using stock RTR motor and esc with 7.4 v 5400 and a 7.4 5000 mah lipo. I let my son drive it while I was busy. I looked at it this morning and the motor endbell had melted and the esc is not functioning. My friend also has the same set up. I am thinking that this happened because of my gear ratio. I was using 24/87, what should I tell my friend to change his to so he doesnt fry his gear too? Or do you think it was something else?

**correction**
It only has a 16 tooth pinion. Who would have thought that they would have packaged a pinion 8 teeth smaller than the pinion they recomend for the motor the that they packed. AWESOME

By the sounds of it your motor was on its last leg. I think the original RTR motors have bushings instead of bearings and I've heard of this being a problem with the RTR motors burning up. I believe the new Rockstar RTR has the same motor but with bearings, which should prolong the life of the motor.

I don't really have any info on the stock pinion though as mine was a kit.

actually everything except the front grill/lights are painted. I made the stencils for the numbers and Punisher logo by hand.

Pretty awesome, a friend of mine is actually the writer and artist for Punisher. His name is Rick Remender. If you look him up, he's got some other really cool stuff too like Fear Agent and The Last Days Of American Crime. I'll have to show him a pic of your truck, I'm sure he'll think it's pretty cool.

That'd be cool![8D] I loved The Punisher movie from 2004. Was thinking of different paint schemes for my stock body, and The Punisher came to mind. Don't think I've seen anybody do a Punisher short course truck paintjob, so thought it'd look pretty cool. I think The Punisher & short course kinda go hand in hand

I'm definitely becoming a much more capable driver on the track. Experience is an asset, and also helps tweaking the suspension settings. Have noticed an improvement trying to drive in a straight line on the loose straightaway since I've reduced the camber up front to about -1 degree. Also the Calibers on the rear have been the best all-round tire I've tried yet.

Tonight I've just installed some 3Racing Titanium turnbuckles. I picked them up at rc-mushroom and were actually quite a decent price......couldn't pass them up! Stronger and lighter than the stock turnbuckles.........it's a win win!!

cheers man , still got a fair bit of work on it left to do this is just a days work il work on in tomoz and try and finish it . then look at picking a esc and motor combo for it . i no integy has a chassis bu, if ya look at it , it looks way to full on and over the top , just to flashy , i like nice and simple , so thats what iv come up with , just need to brace it up a lil . im gunna also make front and rear susp towers for it and maybe body post holders . lil project see how it goes :P

i used the carbon skid plate i bought off ebay from the US , to give me the right kick up angle up the front . came with all the holes i needed for the front too , made is soo so easy .

Just added some handy dandy carbon fibre to my SC10

Got me the FT battery brace which is pretty neat. Now I can turn the battery backwards for shorter battery leads and also I can swap the foam spacer from the rear to the front to have more weight out back.

Kinda handy I think!

today spent the morning trying to work out how to brace the front tower , and tossed around a few ideas with my brother then i went for this one . just a nice brace from the center of the shocks to the floor and also supports the servo and
protects it . doubles as a handle too. also made the other 2 spacers for where the rear meets the chassis .

Alright I dumped the stock electronics and got a Velineon system. Chose strictly because it is waterproof. I have only ran it a few times and havent noticed it getting too hot, should I get a fan for it anyway?
