Vintage Tamiya Thundershot Rebuild - Photo Thread
Well I got a sweet on a thundershot roller kit #67 from Tamiya (with most of the parts to complete it here). So I will be rebuilding the entire thing using that and my extra parts Thundershot. If you have one of these feel free to post any photos or suggestions.
Here is a little write up on the Thundershot

Thanks

Hey man good snag. Looks good other than the coke shell Can you get new bodies for it? I guess you could probably just get the stickers and paint off and respray it too, it doesn't really look beat up. I think people use nitro fuel or something to dissolve the paint sometimes? They re- released these I think in a limited run in 2005, so maybe you can find whatever parts you need pretty easily!

Ya it was not to bad. $30 for the truck, original box, manual and some extra parts. The only thing it was misisng was radio gear, but I had extras of course. Fixing those old Tamiyas is addicitive though as I have already thrown $35 into parts for it.
