getting brushless for rustler

Default getting brushless for rustler

what would be good for a rustler. is the mamba max 7700 over the top?

If you're gonna go with the mamba max I would suggest going with either the 4600, 5700, or 6900 motor. The 7700 would work but would run hotter than the others.

Go with the 4600 or the 5700 your temps will be good and you can always run more cells if you want more speed. The 6900 and 7700 will get too hot. I run my rustler with the 4600, 18 tooth pinion and a venom 7.2v 5000mah, get about 25 to 30 min. run times without getting hot. Waiting for the weather to clear up so I can try 12 cells.
