Just got this thing about 2 weeks ago. I love this thing. I put the new motor and got this baby up to about 13 mph
1 hr charge = 1 hr runtime ----gotta love it

hopups

-alloy knuckles
-alloy main gear
-chrome wheels
-alloy red locknuts
-xspeed motor

is it any good in rough dirt or other offraod stuff? i know my regular mini-z with the body off could acually climb mulch piles and stuff so i bet the overland is better.

i dont really use it outside much....but i can climb up and over alot of stuff in my house. Its a alot better offroading when u lock the rear diff. I know many pple who use it on loose dirt or mud and they say it works well.

With a 1 hour charge, can you really get a 1 hour runtime? What type of batteries does it use?

Sure, here users build small out door courses for their overland. With steep roads, and dirt and small stones its a blast to drive. Run time? well I get about 1 hour good rechargables.

I saw the article in rc car action. It is quite a bit different from the mini-z onroad thing.

Its not a true 4WD, its a " pivot triangle susp" on a set of ball joints. It acts like 4WD, but its really not......never the less fun.
Speed is not bad, but its a great climber

I see what your saying, but if all 4 wheels arent spinning its not 4 wheel drive. And it cant be like 4 wheel drive, it is or it is not 4wd.

The sence of flexing and being able to climb and like axle high its 4WD.No each wheel does not spin and have its own power. Its like at the other mini-z type rear wheel drive. With no power to the front So its only 2WD.

I think you can, there is not reason what you could not with these cars. The tires ae nobbie the susp is flexable......Within reason sure you could.

I have went thru mud with mine many times. It cant be too deep and it has to be pretty watery. T3, if I wasnt trading mine for a micro rs4 I would sell/trade mine to you. I imported mine from tokyo before anyone even heard about them in the usa and I got the toyota instead of the pajero rally body.

Heres a pic of my truck
