I posted a picture of one in the Slash thread, the fellow raced it at the Fun Daylast Race of the Winter season, it was cool...

But the Moderators deleted it, and said the truck was no longer a Slash.

I could post the nonsensical emails and excuses they sent me, but they would just delete them too.They also threatened to ban me for posting the picture if Idid it again.

Its funny that this hobby is all about customization and personalization but things get deleted becuse its not original????? What are things coming too??????

if its a slash w/ a vw body, its still a slash. post away my friend.

I agree. It is the chassis that determines the truck. If I put a rustler body on my slash does that make it a rustler? no, if I changed the chassis and top plate to a rustler platform then yes.

Notice the Stock Slash wheels and tires, Slash bumpers, Slash springs....  Its a Slash chassis too (notice the tell tale grey front viewable via the fender well).

Somewhere, I have the vid of the race too, I'll post it later if I can find it.

hmm, if they (proprietors of the race) deemed it was a slash, and it ran in the slash class . . . it must be a slash

One would think so.  The fellow ran the Slash class all season long and show'd up at the last race of the season (fun run) with a new Bug shell on the same Slash.

Seem'd a no brainer to everyone at the time except the Powers That Be at RCU.

I'm very much liking the new attitude...  WedDr is a refreshing change of pace.
