E-revo to Revo 3.3
After having multiple problems with electric i was thinking about converting my E-revo into a revo 3.3. I've heard of people converting revo 3.3's into e-revo's, but can it be done in reverse? I'm still debating. I have all summer now that school is out, but a limited budget.
What do you guy's think?
Any input welcome!
Thx,
Andy

RE: E-revo to Revo 3.3
You have to understand that the Revo 3.3 and the E-Revo are very different. It would cost you more to convert than buying a new Revo 3.3. You need tons of parts. Chassis, Transmission etc.
Converting a Revo 3.3 into a E-Revo doesn't mean the actual E-Revo, it just means replacing the TRX 3.3 engine with a motor. It is completely different from the actual E-Revo.

I'm curious - what problems have you had with electric? Do you have nitro experience?
I only ask cause from experience electric is simpler to overcome issues than nitro, usually.

Id hate to go back to nitro, I am making the conversion to electric now. Still have a monster savage with a picco though, that thing is a monster. But I definetly think electric is much better, more run times, cheaper, less maintenance, quiter, less parts break!
I am sick of breaking pullstarts, running out of fuel, random cut outs while driving. Electric is much better.. Stay with the E version.
