Default EVADER EXT HELP!!!

I want to put a brushless motor into my evader ext but my local hobby store clerk said My transmission would break the first time I would ride it. Does duratrax sell metal transmissions for Evader Ext's?? If not, Is there anyone intrested in buying mine?

Don't tighten the slipper clutch too much and resist the urge to floor the throttle from a standstill. You should be fine if you follow those tips.

The evader transmission has been known to stand up to brushless when driven correctly, but thats not an easy feat. I toasted mine twice with mod brushed motors. Brushless power is nice, but only if you can drive more than 5 minutes at a time. I wouldn't sell it, just buy something else that can hold up to the power.

Talk to some of the guys over in the Evader section. There is some mods you can do to make them live a little while. Even after the upgrades you need to be gentle with it. Your best bet is to sell it and buy a rustler or Firestorm. Both have all steel transmissions and will handle brushless power.
