Is it safe to say that your servo is toast, if it doesnt work (turn) ,gets very hot, and put aout a burning scent when all this happened?

What was it installed in? Did you hit something? Is your radio trying to turn it further than the linkage allows? What type of servo was it, standard size, metal gears, ball bearings?
