Then it's interference. Make sure the receiver is as far from the esc and motor as possible or upgrade to FM or 2.4ghz.

Ya, it's unfortunate that so many manufacturers still us AM stock radios. I mean FM is pretty cheap now and considering some companies are putting 2.4ghz radios with their RTR cars (Traxxas and Losi) it just doesn't make sense that most are still using AM.

tower has a 2.4gHz radio for $80 if you don't need servos. looks like a copy of a tactic radio. could be a cheap way around the glitching my b4 has similar problems sometimes. don't know why but it usually happens when the car is traveling from right to left and the ESC is between me and the RX. I'll be getting one of the tower 2.4gHz radios in the coming weeks so we will see.

FM may or may not cut out the glitching, depends on how strong it is. FM is definitely less prone interference but not as good as 2.4ghz. Even 2.4ghz isn't bullet proof, just much better than either FM or AM.

I'd suggest you move the rx or esc if possible.

yeah get that rx away from anything else electircal, then replace batts, your servo can also play a role on it, if you're using say an AM system and a mg servo you can have issues i was for a while then i swapped servos and it worked great, the other servo was also dieing so idk... but FM should help i've heard the tower system is kinda cheap feeling look into maybe a losi 2.4 and check ebay for um...

could it be that my battery sits on top of the RX? cause the RX is as far away from the ESC as it can possible get. this is my steering servo, Hitec HS-645MG High Torque Metal Gear Servo.

I've read that braiding the motor wires may help with glitching. I'm new to the hobby so I'm not sure how it is done.
