I have heard decent stuff about the cyber but not so good about the brama. in the same price range is the thunder tiger sparrowhawk and I have read decent reviews of that one too. but I have no idea of clearance on any of them being buggies. on the other hand, being 4wd I would bet they can handle some terrain.

The thing is that the cyber got more quality than the brama, explaining the cost. The plus with it is that you can drop any Motor,ESC,transmitter and servo you want! For something like that i recommend you to drop in a Sidewinder + 4600kv combo and a Spektrum DX2.0 kit (contains transmitter, receiver, and 2 servos). Those 2 thing about 300-350$ and will complete your kit. Will run quite well on that setup with that car and brushless too!

The design of buggies is such that they don't have high ground clearance. You need either a truggy, truck or monster truck. The advantage of a buggy is that it is more stable at higher speeds and tends to handle better.

I'd also suggest you look at the Tamiya buggies, they are kits so you have to build them which I find to be a lot of fun.

If you must have a buggy, along with the Tamiyas, look at Kyoshos. The Kyosho ZX-5 is available as an RTR.

But as Druss mentioned, buggies and ground clearance are mutually exclusive. You can get some 1/10 truck wheels/tires for it to increase the ground clearance, but that's it. They have short suspension arms also that limit travel.

Yeah, the Mad Bull has a good deal of clearance for a buggy.

The sand fire dune buggy looks really bad***, but I can imagine that it handles like a stampede, because it uses a stampede rear end.

edit: It's also only 2wd, but I believe it has plenty of ground clearance.

i am not sure about the cyber 10b but i have the brama and i got to tell you its a bummer. its not fast at all on or off the track and needs upgrades. on the track if i dont land perfectly on a jump i will bottom out and when you hit this chassis you will either tumble or pop up off the ground

if its stock its a brushed system with would explain why its so slow put something like this in ithttp://www.castlecreations.com/products/mamba_max.htmlorhttp://www.castlecreations.com/products/sidewinder.htmlthe mamba max is more programable and can handle more cells than the sidewinder but the sidewinder is less expensive
