brama 10b upgrade

Default brama 10b upgrade

i have a hpi brama 10b and on and off the track its slow. i was wondering if i can throw any motor in there or do i need a new ESC. please help me with kinds of motors i can put in there and what kind of installation i will be having to do.

try a brushless system like the sidewinder esc and 4600kv combo that would be really good for that car

well the thing is its sort of my backup car because in october i am getting a rustler vxl with a mamba monster but i am wondering something i can put in the brama 10b like a 13 turn mortor. my real question is does any motor work with any ESC.

brushless motors work in only brushless esc's
brushed work in brushed esc's and some brushless esc's
it depends on what your esc can handle in order to use that motor. if ur esc has a 15t motor limit you cant use anything under 15 turns

Ok and for my gear box will I need to upgrade the spur gear and pinion

its like the less turns the motor does the faster it goes.
