My paint scheme is moddeled after Rodrigo Ampudia's truck.

MMM 2200KV @ 60% throttle, Turnigy 4S 20C. 18/45 gearing, Losi 8 front shocks all around with 30wt in the front and 35wt in the rear, Bow Tie M3 on split six wheels. The truck is a beast and gives nitro buggies a run for their life at the local 1/8 scale track. I get 40 minutes of run time with the 4S setup with power similar to the VLX on 3S.

Hearing that the stock springs need to go. Do the proline springs fit. What springs fit the stock shocks? Are there different springs for the Big Bores?

That's sick, looks great! Please tell me about the drive shaft mod you got there. I hate that big hole in the front and now my drive shaft is getting all lathed up.

Thanks.

First start by marking the shaft where the "hole" is.

Remove the shaft and wrap with electrical tape. The hole is exactly the with of electrical tape so it doesnt take much to get it right.

This is how much tape I put on.

Then just use heat shrink over the tape.

Now there is only about a 1mm gap all around. Dont get ittoo tight of the flex will destroy your hard work.

Its really simple to do. I have had great feedback from other people that have done it. You can still run the plastic cover over it. Dust still gets in there. but nothing big enough to warrant the need for a new drive shaft.

Hope that helps!

I suspect it'll give electric 1/8 scale buggies a run too! After all these SC are every so slightly smaller than the 1/8th scale buggies, but they weight a couple of pounds less!

Thanks guys.

I used to race 1/8 scale E buggy, so driving this is a breeze for me! Very fun[>:]

I used 1/2" heat shrink on the shaft.

ok newb question. i have been out of the hobbie for some years but got back in with a PE. Just got it in last night got everything hooked up and found i have no brakes??? when i hit the throttle backwards for the brake It will just coast untill it slows down enough for the reverse to catch. im guessing it a setting on my TX but am not sure and wanted to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.

thanks

I'd say its a quarter past. You must have the older version. The better version. When they still made a "Pro"

I've looked all through the manual and can't find the specs to the servo that comes on the PE. Does anyone know what or where that info is?
