RE: venom scx
Interesting looking. Still, how many short course trucks do we need? Interesting choice on the name too, Axial already makes an SCX, although it's a totally different kind of truck.

RE: venom scx
its made by venom it will probably burst into flames, explode and take out 2 other peoples trucks, or just plain stop working after 3 laps kinda like their batteries
on a serious note if it works and is made decent it looks like it would be a good deal
Will give Venom one thing they made a decent looking RTR. I even like the pre-painted body it get +5 points for lack of gaudy flames

I'll wait and see, give them the benefit of the doubt. True some of Venom's stuff is a bit funky but their Creeper Crawler and some of their recent parts have been pretty good.

RE: venom scx
actually looks promising. I look forward to seeing more of it along with the new dirt bike.
+ shocks look nice
+ radio compartment
+ cvd from factory
+ 2.4ghz radio
+ I like the paint scheme and body
Worry the tranny will be a gimmick or problamatic.
Already has a leg up on the Losi Strike. ROAR approved
Comes out mid-may.

Like the tranny idea! Hopefully its a good truck.
Right now I have a plain Blitz but if I were going to buy something soon it would be the Blitz ESE...

It looks like they put a lot of thought into this one. It will be interesting to see how it performs. Without evaluating the entire truck some of the included components dont look half bad in theory. Beadlocks, metal axles, adjustable shocks, camber, caster, toe, and ride height? And a moveable transmission for weight balance? It does look interesting. Im willing to take a closer look. RCX is coming up and we shall see.....

Hrmm, looks like it has potential. The optional tranny/motor position looks interesting. But, it is a Venom, and I'd be worried about it's durability. The SC category is sure getting watered down, but at the same time it's nice to have choices. The more the competition the merrier. Something's wrong with the body though, looks like the front end was hit with an oogly stick. It'll sure be interesting once a few ppl get these and give us some honest reviews. I can see this on the front pages of all the upcoming mags, but each and every one will give it at least a 9/10 rating.[&o]

Maybe it's more buttressed than it looks, but it still looks a bit narrow

RE: venom scx
Man, Venom have been really turning it on recently. Yeah, there are a lot of SCs around at the moment, but how many are a clean build on a brand new chassis? The blitz is a stretched Firestorm, the SC10 is based on a XXX-T, the Strike is a high roller, the Slash raids the Stampede/Rustler parts bin etc. As far as I know this is the first true pure Short Course truck.
I really like that... I hope the tranny is metal. The body looks well proportioned as is a proper pick up shape, as opposed to a jelly mould like the slash/strike.

Not knocking any of the other trucks because they all have there positives/negatives.
