VXL motor/Sidewinder ESC help!
I tried searching but had no luck!
I picked up a sidewinder esc and a vxl motor for my blitz because ive heard great things.
As for connecting the esc to the motor, what color combination do i use?
I read somewhere that a guy used (black/blue, red/yellow, and white/white)...
When I do this and go to program it, it seems to run backwards (throttle forward goes in reverse, etc) Im wondering if i have the wires mixed?
Also, I did not get a book with the sidewinder. Im strictly running nimhs and the last guy ran lipo so how do I turn off the Low Voltage cutoff.
Thanks in advance everyone!

as far as the colors on the wires you should just be able to switch the blue and yellow ones around ie, blue to red yellow to black, you can download the castle link program from the castle site and u may have to get the adapter to go from micro usb to the receiver wire on the controller.

I have the exact same setup in my Blitz, If you motor goes reverse, just switch any two of the wires and the motor should go forward.
As for the cut off, just go download a manual and follow the manual programming guides, but it is so much easier to do with the Castle Link or the Field Link

Just a note, the VXL motor shaft is too long for the Blitz's gear cover, you will have to trim it off a bit, that is what I did.

make sure to get the field link! You can program with the card AND/OR with a computer!!!! it's 2 things in 1! and the same price.

yes! Exactly, I'm loving mine, You can program it any where without a computer. If you need more options, you can connect to your PC through the filed link.
