Could you turn that blackfoot truck into a dual hunter?, or the twin motor and transmission set up?

The DF-02 should be good on most surfaces except heavy/thick/tall grass since it has a lower ride height and tires than your LB. Street or dirt lots should be good. You will wear the spike tires down to nubs faster with a lot of street use.

How big is the file size (from your dig camera)? I imagine pretty huge.
You can always use a photo editor on your computer to re-size it (make a copy, shrink THAT one, and upload). As an FYI, paint.net (not MS paint!) is a great open-source (free!) photo editing tool.

RE: which one out of three?
had some good driving time this last week. my son loves it and so does my daughter. unfortunately we had it spin on its roof and caused some scratches. my son was very sorry about whathe had done, i told him that it was all part of the fun and what they were made for. he was soon back at the controls giving it everything.
my daughter now wants a pink lunch box, don't think the wife will be happy with that. lol.

Lexan bodies are painted on the inside(with lexan/polycarbonate paint), so if the body is scratched only the lexan will be scratched and the paint underneath will be unharmed.
BTW, nice job on the body. I know that I couldn't paint it that well.

If you could touch up the scratches, you could get a lexan version of the LB body for bashing.

Good to hear you are having fun, after all that is what it is about. You did a geat job on the bodyshell. I have a midnight pumpkin chassis and it is great fun. I noticed you are from the UK, if you are on a tight budget, I recommend you take a look at some of the Ansmann kits that modelsport do, if you want an on road style car but are worried about the surfaces you have to drive on then I'd recommend a hot rod, which is an on road friendly converted buggy with a hot rod shell. The kit is only 54 quid, so won't break the bank and it is based on the Macnum/Madrat chassis which is a decent starting point. It has CVDs, oil shocks, a slipper clutch, ball differential, standard 12mm hexes etc.

does any one know where i can find a step by step guide of how to do the fx10 front end conversion?

the new arms need to be trimmed where the mount on the inside, as they are a bit long.
the upper arms are too long so you need to make new ones out of threaded rod or turnbuckles and rod ends.
try tamiyaclub.com. i know there are a couple of lunchboxes and grasshoppers on there that have done the conversion.
i've only done it to a grasshopper and i know there must be a difference with the lunchbox/pumpkin.
fyi, when you order the fx10 kit you need to order the hardware too, they list them apart.

RE: which one out of three?
btw - Microsoft has a powertoy called image resizer that is great for sizing pics to post on here - try this link [link=http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx]http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx[/link] - look for image resizer on the right side - once installed, you right click on any photo file, and an option to resize comes up in the popup menu - resize to 480x640, and it keeps the file sizes reasonable and looks good on RCU - and it is free and does not put the annoying watermark on your pics
nice job on that lunchbox

RE: which one out of three?
just wondering if anyone had used any Fastrax 1/10th 85mm alloy shocks. if so have you had any joy with them and did you need to make any modifications to them for stiffness/ softness?
these are the shocks. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.ph...n&ItemID=14893
