Poblem with new slash 4x4???
I dont know if this is normal but when i set my remote to 70/30 i think it is well the other option other then 50/50 i dont have it infront of me the car launches in reverse and i have to swtich it back to 50/50 am i doing something wrong or is it messed up? thanks!!!

^ What he said.First time i did that i was like wth?Too.
Turn on the TX
Plug the battery in
Press and HOLD the set button on the esc
It will turn red, than go off
Blinks once, hold full throttle
Blinks twice, go to full reverse
Blinks 3 times, go to neutral
Keep holding and it will blink once again, release and your back into sport mode.

got another question i was at my LHS and looking at batteries and sum dude came up and said to stay away from lipos because it will burn up my engine is this true???

Or just some drunk bum off the street?
Hes obviously an idiot.
You could put a 2 or 3s lipo with NO problems.You may have to gear down a bit.
Thats kinda the point of bl, to be able to harness all the amazing power of lipo and push your truck to speeds many never though possible.

some guy that was buying springs for a brushless revo he said... and he said lipos are always burning his motors and that he has been racing rc's for 15 years lol.. i was looking at the lipos on hobbyking and they have weird plugs

Yeah...I bet he put bigger tires on, too small of a motor, ran it in grass WOT and never geared down.
Yes, most have XT-60 plugs.I just rip them off and put deans on.no biggy.Takes a few minutes to break the soldering gun out and pop a new plug on.
If you dont know how to solder, you COULD have the Lhs do it, but soldering is one of those things that, in this hobby, electric especially, you kinda need to know how to do.
Its REALLY easy to do and learn how to..
