The brushed version probably won't like 12 volts. Are you sure your track even allows 3S?

If you are still running the stock XL5 ESC and titan motor 3S is not an option. The pack you're looking for is the Turnigy 2S 5200 30C hard pack for around $20

If you are looking for only one pack check out here. By the time you figure in shipping from Hobby King and a connector the prices are farily close. Also the linkhas good customer service.

Definitely take the Ony230 over the Superbrain 992. I was looking into a second charger and was steered away from the superbrain once I discovered it did not use CC/CV charging method for lipos. (Constant Current/ Constant Voltage). I ended up with a Hyperion 720inet3 ADM AC/DC charger which set me back around $179 and it's definitely worth it. The onyx230 is a great charger and I have one. If you get the Onyx230 you'll need a balancer such as the Astro Flight Blinky Balancer.

Also go with the SPC packs. They are some of the best bang for the buck packs you can get.

Yea I was wondering the same thing I swapped my slash 2wd back to stock from MMP and lipo ( for my 6yr old.) am running the 8.4/ 7 cell nihm batts with it but you say the stock 12t Titan can take a 7.4v 2s lipo? I have a couple of those extra from my buggy. cool.........

I believe most tracks only allow 2s lipos for racing-in that case depends on your budget but for racing most go for the highest C rating they can find for what they can afford.

I will prob run the venom 2s 20c 5000 mah batts that I have, I did not think the stock Titan would last with that...........
