oMG, just unscrew the old one and put on the new one.

You take the broken one off, and replace it with a new one. And replace it with a tower from RPM while you are at it. Have a look at [link=http://www.traxxas.com/pdfs/2407_explodedviews_rear.pdf]this PDF[/link] and use it as a manual for which screws you have to undo to get the tower off.

idk maybe i was different that the noobs nowadays when i started that oh so long one and a half years ago but i never needed to post on here to figure out which screws to take off to fix something, it was always pretty obvious to me, so i'll give you the same advice I give everyone that comes on here asking about how to work on their cars, just set aside a few hours and take apart your car to familiarize yourself with it, it can actually be quite a bit of fun, and it will save you a ton of headaches and time by not having to post on here every time you need to replace a part, i can guarantee if you follow that advice you will have a much better experience with this hobby :)

People are probably just sick of people not knowing how to make a simple repair or use google/manual/resources to help them out. Seems to be a generational thing though (instant gratification vs. working to find stuff on your own), is it really easier to ask a question on here and wait for a response, than to actually get out a screw driver and do a little trial/error work

This kid was complaining last week because Dad was going to return the thing.

I guess after non-stop crying and throwing a fit, he got his way. Since it worked with his dad, he thinks it is going to work here also.
