Where u going n to be run? Track or just around the yard. I run Castle stuff. The 2650 was super fast. Gave me great top end and high rpm's. but had to go to the 2200 for the track. The 2200 is my all around motor. Still really fast on 4s. I race it on 4s and then u can through in the 6s for OMG SPEED.

In my opinion both the t8 and castle 2200 are great motors. However, both esc's have their flaws. Plenty of stories of the tekin esc's going up in smoke and the mmm esc's bec is worthless, furthermore the t8 system is very expensive. If your a serious racer I'd prolly go t8, if your more of a basher I'd go castle. If it were me I'd pair the castle 2200kv motor with a hobbywing 150a esc. Total cost around $220 (if you shop deals) no low speed cogging so good for racing and makes just about the most indestructible 1/8th system there is. </p>

The 2200 Castle motor is a genuine BEAST. Very high efficiency for the kv. The ESCs are a lottery, both. At least the Castle weakness can be solved with a cheap BEC. For a basher, the Tekin's sensor is just an additional point of failure and offers nothing. I can only echo what JC said to be honest.
