Actually, I did think to myself, what the hell is that huge spinning pointless X, oh well, where's this new product...?

Evidently they are releasing a giant radio-controlled X. It will be black and shiny, with gobs of understeer and a wateproof ESC that will be marketed to @#%$ and back.

anyway, perhaps traxxas found out about my 1/5 scale stampede VXL and decided to make a RTR version of my truck
i know there are plenty of crawlers, but it would be cool to see traxxas get in on the action. they have waterproof elecs which not many RTR crawlers have.
maybe they will make a slash 2wd into a buggy like the losi XXX SCB!

maybe they will make a 1/8th 4wd buggy seeing all they have to do is take the slash change the bumpers, and slap on 1/8th buggy wheels, and a wing mount. Not like it needs any real engineering, and reuses something they only recycled once already. They would call it the bandit 4X4
Or slap ST rims on the pede 4X4 with a rustler body, and call it the Rustler 4x4
Or just throw a new body on some tired old design, and slap NEW on it.
Those are my 3 guesses

It's going to be a whole new platform. like, ground up. they only have maybe 6 different platforms? revo,maxx,e-version, 1/16, nitro rust, and elect rust.

just once i'd like a company to use a normal letter, like F or R whats wrong with those? X this and X that, product ex, formula X blah blah blah blah blah... it's sooooo annooyyyinngggg idk what the big deal with an X is, it's just a sidways + sign...
mini rant over with... and i really hope this is something like the e revo, or the slash 4x4 meaning, a chassis that is actually new, not the same thing recycled under 20 different bodies with 8 paint scheme's....

LOL! don't dis on traxxas too much, I bought my first rc car from them when I knew nothing about rc stuff. Then I bought a nitro rustler. it was aight but I didn't like nitro, too much maintenance. plus I can't compare traxxas to anybody cuz I haven't really driven any other brand.
but I do know that they are not the best brand at ALL!
