Default Sidewinder V2?

Hey everyone! I recently got back into r/c and wanted to know what was up with the new sidewinder combo from castle. Does it come with the new 4-pole motors in the package or is it still the old cm-36 motors?

Can anyone recommend if I should buy a low kv combo and gear up on 2s or just buy a high kv motor?

Thanks a bunch, everyone.

EDIT: this is going into an FF03 pro

never seen the car, but on 2s lipo with the 3800kv motor is good for all around. but get the fan for the esc as it gets warm on 2s.

go full retard and buy the 5700. it still allows you to run 3S.

i believe they do all come with the 4 pole motor now. i just got my Sidewinder SV2 a couple days ago and it came with a 1406 motor.

Hi all, I have been looking at using this esc and the 5700kv motor combo in my tc4. Does anyone no if
this would be a good combo to go with? and can anyone tell me what kind of speeds would be achieved
on 2s lipo and 3s lipo.
The other slightly cheeper option that i was looking at was the reedy 540r 6100kv combo but this is 2s
max. im not looking at racing just messing around in car parks etc so am looking for good straight line
speed, would this be faster than the caastle combo listed above on 2s?

cheers

dont get the sv2 if you plan on running 3s. get the mamba version instead.

yes but if u do it for a long time you risk buring your esc. mine got burned withing 5 packs......

the mamba max pro has 3x the time current capacity.

Thanks guys, I will probably stick with 2s anyway on maybe a 6000kv set up. What sort of speed will that give me?
