Damn! You're making me so jealous of that car! I was going to get the Ford Mustang in the same size, but they almost $500. (AU)

Although I have started to put money aside for a Traxxas XO-1! 100mph baby!!!

Show off my on-road R/C car? Don't mind if I do!

It's a highly modified 1/10 Redcat Racing Lightning EPX. Motor/ESC, receiver/transmitter, gears, wheels, body, are all upgrades.

Thanks for reading!

Oh man, really? They still aren't showing up??? Well, sorry about that... tomorrow I'll see if I can fix it. And it's basically the exact same chassis that Dodgezilla has, except the pictures I was trying to show here were of a different body. Expect to see it soon

My TT-02. Since this was my first assembly model since my teenage years, the body was a bit of an afterthought. I just wanted to get the thing on the road! I plan to purchase another body down the road an get all meticulous on it - probably an SG model Subaru Forester body. I've just added a Castle 1406(??) motor and by god this thing is fast now - motors and batteries are better these days!

Thanks! Yes it is pretty much the GT-86, labeled as a Subaru BRZ in this packaging at least. The body should actually have a bunch of ground effects too, but I cut all that off when prepping the body....."instructions??? puh!" Actually, I didn't see the dedicated body instructions until after the fact, but I do rather like resulting street look without all the ground effects. Probably saved some inevitable shredding of the body as well without all that overhang. Next body I plan to sit down and take my proper time with it. I may still add the wing on this one, it's painted at least, just haven't gotten around to adding it.

Very much enjoying the car so far. RC bug has bitten HARD right now! But with my son and I outside playing together, it's been well worth it. Also have a Helion Animus that initially re-ignited the itch - surely more vehicles to come in future along with lots of hop ups and fun parts for this model.

Edit: I must say I am really fond of the way the green color turned out! Not so much the poorly cut body. Closeup shot reveals so many botched areas....good motivation for next body.

Edit #2 (vs spamming thread) - Got the wing mounted up tonight, few more pics added....those microscopic nuts and bolts are fun! Note - those are paper clips bent into "body mounts" under the rear windshield to keep the body a little higher in the rear, my tires were rubbing slightly before. i'm guessing i'm not the first guy to rig up something like this, better ideas welcome.

That looks sooooo good! I love those wheels! Also, you're right, I really like that green color too!! I want to do a simple metallic blue or red when I get mine.

Thank you sir! I think the metallic blue would look great too. Red would be cool to see since you don't usually see GT-86 in that color (or at least i haven't!)
