I just saw one of these at Dick Smiths. Sure is a nice body, any idea on what's underneath it? Is it just toy grade or entry level hobby grade?

All yep both the 1/10 nitro and electric are made by Great Vigor. Don't know about the littler one

GV are good quality just very expensive for parts.

How's dick smiths is going down hill, they use to sell electrical components like jaycar
Looking around the store its full of cheap Chinese eBay crap just marked up 3 times the price. And there limited selection of quality brand name products is so expensive... Whats going on with them? Ok I had my rant lol

I blame woolworths lol

Yeah I went to the Dicksmiths Super store here last weekend only to find it had been shut down and now all they have is one little store in a shopping center, I went to their little store to look at computers and no word of a lie, no one wanted to even talk to me, I ended up buying my new sweet ass laptop from Jb HiFi. Dick Smith the man is a really good person though, I reckon they should have let him have a go at running the country, not that he probably even wanted to but I reckon he would have done a good job. But yeah, those little holdens sure do look nice, I'd love to see one in action.

Dick smith is now has for a long time by the Coles group so yes the same formula as woollies less wholesales less paper work less inventory is more profits . Dick is a top bloke but he don't own the stores . Don't you love it when you go to ask the Tecsperts and the pimply teen just turns the box over and recites what it says on the back of the box lol .
That's knowledge !

I don't understand what dick smiths is for now, they have a little bit of everything, but not much of a selection of each product.
Personally, I shop at jaycar, good guys, and JB Hifi
