Steering Malfunction on Tamiya TT01-D
Hi Guys,
Hope you can help me. I have a Tamiya TT01-D with a Sanwa Dash Saber 2 Channel remote. My steering controls started to malfunction. Throttle works, Forward and Reverse but Steering only my Left works.
The malfunction happens when I push the controls to the right it briefly turns right, then does a full lock left and applies throttle. So I can't turn right at all, as it suddenly starts doing left circles... Also while having the right control stick pulled right, the receiver ignores all other inputs.
I had the problem fixed at my local hobby shop a few days ago, only to have it happen to me again. Unfortunately, I don't know what they did to fix it. AFAIK they did not replace any parts as I only paid for some labor...
Any suggestions that I can try? I have tried re-calibrating the ESC, but seeing as its only controlling throttle it did not make any difference.
Thanks

I'd say to completely get rid of the old radio. You can get a 2.4 GHz radio like that for much cheaper.
