Default Tamiya 1/1oth on road electric suggestions/ opinions

Originally i had acquired a Sakura XI sport but a friend of mine expressed interest in it and i caved in and gave it to them. This brings me back basically to square one. When i first set out to get my on road electric vehicle, i stated my goals were to build a kit and eventually after some time get involved in racing. The responses i got were for me to get either a Tamiya belt or shaft driven, Xray , or Sakura XI sport. I settled on the sakura based on price point and reviews of capability. Now i may get another Sakura XI sport but i want to weigh my option with Tamiya line. Forum away guys

Its gone already? That was pretty short lived, lol.
I have a couple Tamiya tt01s, they are pretty durable but not all that tunable. Basically entry level. I do not have any nicer Tamiya on roads but they do make some good ones. Ta05 is a nicer kit but not breaking the bank. The TRF chassis are really nice.
