Default Tamiya m05 steering play!!

Hey guys, tamiya m05. I have stock suspension other than aluminium front control arms and oil shocks. The steering has lots of play because of the plastic steering rack. Any suggestions on a good brand other than yeah racing. I'm in Canada to so anything up here to save on exchange and duty would be good too. Thanks in advance!

3racing makes an upgrade as well but I dont see availability being any better than the yeah racing set

Ya that's the issue lol. My local hobby store is taking their sweet time too. Do you have any experience with yeah or 3 racing or does anyone else on here maybe?

I have a couple bits of yeah racing stuff, no real complaints. I have a 3racing car kit, sakura xi sport, but I havent assembled it yet. So I cant make too much judgement. My general impression is that it is mostly bling, but if the plastic steering isnt cutting it and the replacement part isnt too expensive it might be worth a shot.

Well tamiya is like double the price so it might be worth it. I'm going to the hobby store tn so I'll see what they have to suggest but I might have to try these ones....if I can get them up here. But as for racing it's more bling than performance for the most part???

Hey so update on the steering play. Completely disassembled the steering rack and reinstalled...turns out it was a rookie mistake... the screws had come loose a little on the main steering rack lol lesson learnt. It still has some play from the linkage (tie rods) but I found a linkage kit with replacement linkage that makes adjusting the toe a lot easier with an adjustable threaded piece that fits between the 2 links....thus eliminating the super annoying task of popping links off the pins to adjust the toe...Thankyou ebay! Once I install I will post pics. And I beleive the kit is 3 racing. Hope this helps at least 1 person.
