Default Stuck between the Tamiya TT-02 and HPI RS4 sport 3 flux

Hi guys, I'm stuck between buying the tamiya TT02 and the hpi rs4 sport 3 flux. I know out the box the HPI is an alround better car but cost a lot more. If I got the tt02 I was planning on doing a total makeover with a full YR racing hop us set, new gears and motor. In the long run I would do the same for the hpi but less would be needed. What is your opinion?

For sure go with the TT02. It'll teach you the inner workings of an RC car, which is something RTRs cannot do as easily.

If you want speed go with the RS4 Sport 3 Flux. The Tamiya is a good car as well. You can pump $$ into either one to your liking.

Default tamiya tt02

I see where you having the problem. Well I got a TT02 with yeah racing parts and a exrun v10 G2 3.5T motor. It time to dial it in but it was well worth it. It's the fun of the build and plus it didn't break the bank. Oh I used a vaterra body pretty clean. Check mines out it give you an ideal.
