On road car to start
Getting back in to this after a long break. I am looking to buy an on road car that can race at my local track's races; VTA or USGT rules. Basically a 1/10 4WD Sedan with ROAR specs. I do not want to break the bank but want to buy something I can make competitive and still have fun. No RTR. I am in between Associated Apex Touring Kit, TC4 club racer, Tamiya TT-02R or S. Tower also is selling the Team Durango DETC410V2 for $159. It's cheap because I guess they are going out of business so parts may be hard to come by but seems like a steal. What would be best? I know most say get whatever car your local track uses but all of these cars should be allowed per track rules right? Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the info and your thoughts. I guess im a little disappointed the T4 comes pre-assembled. I do want a kit i have to assemble. That being said even if i can find a T6 they are still too expensive for me. Maybe if i get more into it but for the first car i dont want to spend that much in case i decide onroad is not for me.

I am going to go with the TA07. Seems like a good middle ground. However, I noticed the wheels it came with are 20mm wide. Seems difficult to find tires to fit these other than the Tamiya Type-C Medium-Narrow Rubber Tire Touring Car tires, 54256. Are there any more tires that will work that are better for parking lots?
