Default Losi XXX-s (Drift-r) + Gyro?

Hey everyone, I haven't really messed with my rc cars in a long while. I have a LOSI Drift-R which is the same as an XXX-s. It is an awd touring 1/10th scale. I am curious if I could use a gyro to stabilize the car at higher speeds. My brother said that gyro's are the new thing in RWD drifting cars but I am by no means wanting to go racing on the tracks. I just like bashing in the big parking lot next to my house. I use the foam tires but still get spin-outs pretty bad cause I just suck.. lol Thoughts? (Get better, practice more, etc.. I know i know)
