Ah, figured it out. The oil inside is amazingly transparent, I had to stick something in there to see how much there is in there!

I am looking for a new pair of Front Steering Knuckles for my TT01 and cannot locate them on the Tamiya site or at our local hobby stores. Can anyone tell me where I can get parts like the steering knuckles and a front shock tower for the TT01??

heres the parts on the tamiya site. apparently out of stock right now. if you ever need to find something. just go the back of a tamiya manual and look for the part, it will always have the item next to it. take that and type it in there site and it will be right there! convenient!!

How much oil goes inside a set of shocks? I mean, how full should the cylinder be?

it should work as long as they are compatible, same frequency and compatible companys. some use postive and others use negative shifts in signal. you got any names or links for the radio i can check out..?

the bmw 320si is a kit. i recommend. Great kit, it comes with the light unit for the special led effects. sexy bmw body too[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

fill it as much as u can.. less air inside the better. so fill it up. let the bubbles bleed out then fill up the top and quickly seal it.

mindwreck, I'm incredibly busy for the next month or so with presentations and studying for exams. I'll be down with running RC at the park after the next month passes. Thanks for the tip on the shocks, though!

Hey everyone, I guess I'm just going to bump my question that I asked earlier...

I'm looking to raise my TT-01 chassis, or just get the body higher, I bought the car RTR with an NSX body and the body posts were realy short... Ive been modding it out lately and bought a Ferrari FXX shell for it, I put the shell on but now it scrapes on like every little bump I hit.

Does anyone know how I can raise the chassis or make some makeshift posts? I just spent quite alot of money modding it out and I realy dont want to spend anymore right now

plus everyone just keeps saying to add apacers... what are those haha, and how do I install them?

spacers? what are they talking about.... only way i can see of raising the body is to get new body posts.. parts for this car are extremely cheap..
or new longer shocks to raise the car...
or bigger tires.

i recommending getting new posts. raising the car will make the fxx look like a rally car, LOL

Sweet didn't see this TT-01 thread for a while!

Here's my top-speed TT-01

Mamba Max 5700
21T pinion
HPI Belted Tires
HPI Wheels
Futaba Heading Hold Gyro (from my helis )
Maxamps Lipo 5000HV 3S 11.1V Pack
Lots of 3Racing hopups
Tamiya hopups (mostly driveline; ball diffs, etc)
Tobee CV's front/rear

It's very fast, still waiting for maxamps batt. in the mail. The car did 74mph on less than half the power output I'll have with the new maxamps pack. I'm shooting for 85+.

Has anybody had a problem with the Tamiya aluminum propeller shaft not fitting into the tamiya propeller shaft couplers? The 2 drivetrain pieces that conenct to the propeller shaft?

It seems as though the prop shaft is too short and BARELY holds into the couplers!

Well check if you even got the right type that can fit the TT-01.

I had troubles putting the shaft in, just check the paper of the TT-01's parts and make sure they're all there and in the right place.
