Default RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread

I am searching some information about TT01's front and rear adjustable suspension arms, but, I don't have the luxury of time to read all 200++ pages from this topic. My question is just plain and simple, which of the aftermarket brands for the front and rear adjustable suspension arms are better in terms of adjustability and price ? I will use this car for drift, touring and just parking lot bash.

Thanks.[8D]

I think that Ford make the best products for TT01', just ring them up and check whether they make the parts or not

Thanks for all my help!

Do you mean shock or arms? cause the arm are not adjustable. You can get front are with tie rods to adjust the camber but thats it. As for shock any alum shock with adjustable threads will work good.

xxSLiMxx - I was referreing to an ADJUSTABLE FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION ARMS, so you can adjust the camber of the front and rear wheels.

Jem93 - Ford does not make parts for the TT01, Ford only build full size cars and trucks, maybe you are on crack.

I believe that Tamiya is the only one that made the adjustable front arms. Iv never see ones for the back, but i could be wrong about that. IMO there not needed unless you are doing serious racing, i had them for my drift/race car, but i upgraded to full alum arms, i never notcied a diff when drifting or just bashing around in a parking lot.

As for Jem93 hes just upset that his boyfriend isnt putting out anymore.

I did some searching and i found out that the TT-01D (drift) had the adjustable arms, front and rear. Sorry about that. Now im sure that only tamiya made them, no aftermarket ones i know of.

I am certain that the TT01D and the TT01R comes with factory adjustable front and rear suspension arms. There are other brands out there that manufacture or sells the same parts using their own brands. The brands that I have found were Tamiya, 3Racing, GPM, Tobee, Topcad, Yea Racing or YR Racing. These brands are commonly distributed or sold by sellers in Asia which are very much cost competitive compared than the Tamiya original hop-up parts.

Your research is not thorough.....[:'(]

Going back to my question from my original post, "My question is just plain and simple, which of the aftermarket brands for the front and rear adjustable suspension arms are better in terms of adjustability and price ? "

The only ones that I know of that make the adjustable front and rear upper arms are Tamiya and 3 Racing and since I have both I can tell you that the Tamiya one replaces just the upper arm front and rear in one kit where as the 3 Racing replaces the upper and lower arms but you would need to purchase the front and rear separately.

So its $ 8.50 for the Tamiya adjustables front and rear set and its $11.50 each for the 3Racing(you need to buy both front and rear)

As for quality? Since I dont hit things with my cars I cannot say, but they feel the same to me but I didnt use the lower arms from 3R

Does anyone have any more info on the new TT-01E Drift (TT-01ED). Did tamiya combine the TT-01 E and D features together in one kit?
